SDU Dynamo takes 2nd Place at the DASC Ohayon Invitational

SDU Dynamo cruised through their first three games of the tourney outscoring their opponents 29-0.  It was a dominating performance in bracket play but the toughest game was of course the Championship Match against rival DASC.  SDU has had a good run of form against DASC in their previous match ups and this time was for the most part, no different.  Dynamo dominated play with several attacks on the DASC net but couldn’t get one to go in.  Even as the game wore on the intensity of the Dynamo girls’ attack picked up.  But, with all of the attacks on the net the game came to an end with a 0-0 tie.  In the OT it didn’t take long for a Dynamo mistake to give the DASC girls the victory over Dynamo.  It was a shot from distance that ended up dropping over the keepers head and into the net for the golden goal win.  Though the girls lost, their play was a shining example of what this team is and is becoming.  They are a fun group of ladies to watch and with the Real Colorado Cup coming up, they have a good shot of shaking things up in Denver.  Good luck girls and let’s bring home some gold!
