About Us

South Dakota United FC was founded by Coach Chris Derry in 2003. SDU was started so that it could help small town players and families who wanted to compete on a regional and national level get there and have a chance to do just that. Through the years the one common thread of SDU has been it’s core belief that family is first and everything else is second.


